Giants women preview into Saturdays quarter final clash

Mansfield Giants women's team, successfully took second place in their league and booked a quarter final game against Bradford Dragons this coming Saturday.  Both teams had met on three occasions previously with Bradford winning on all three occasions.  However with the play-offs being the knock out stages at the end of the season, the play-off trophy is anybodies.

With Giants going into the Saturdays game as the under dogs, the team also has nothing to loose come Saturdays tip off.  Giants had two great team performances over the past weekend, moving the ball well and all players scoring important baskets to secure two away wins.  Giants know they have to stick together in the game and contain Bradford shooting guards.

As the women travel and play Bradfiord the men are still looking at making the play-offs with two important games at the weekend. Saturday the men travel to play Derbyshire Arrows at Killamarsh Sports Centre at 5.45pm.  With Giants final home being at Oak Tree L.C on Sunday 24th March against Loughborough, both wins will keep them in contention of a play-off place, depending how other results go over the weekend.  All children can attend Sundays game for free at Oak Tree LC with adults admission just £2 to watch the game.
